This is the update guide to update from version 0.3.5 to 0.4.0. Please follow the instructions below.

1. Create backup

First you should create a backup from your existing installation of bloofoxCMS.  If you integrated any individual code or if you made changes to default templates it is strictly recommended to backup these files.

2. Replace files

Replace all files of your existing installation with the files from the new 0.4.0 version. If you changed the table prefix in file config.php you shouldn't replace this file.

2. Run update

Upload folder /update from the new bloofoxCMS version. Now you can start with the update tool. Open file /update/index.php in your browser and click Update for your installed version. This update tool will modify your database with necessary changes.

4. Check changes

Please read the ChangeLog.txt and check if there are any changes which affect to your installation of bloofoxCMS. If needed apply these changes, e.g. in your template CSS file or any database field values (by Admincenter).
